Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program is based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy of education, which promotes imagination, exploration, creativity and discovery through play as fundamental to the progress of children. Our children also participate in a number of special events and excursions throughout the year.

The John Paul College Kindergarten offers our youngest students a safe and secure learning environment of discovery and development. Each class is staffed by qualified Group Leaders, Assistants and Teachers dedicated to developing our young students.

For more information our Kindergarten Handbook outlines all the Kindergarten teaching, learning and operational procedures.

Positions are limited at the Kindergarten and, as a result, waiting lists do exist.  To add your child to the waiting list, parents must register for a place on the wait list by completing the following form:

Application to Join the Kindergarten Waitlist Form

Once completed, this form should be returned to the Registrar's office as soon as possible, as applications to join the waitlist are processed by the date received.

Note: A Child can only be added to the waitlist by completing and returning this form.

For further information on registering your child for John Paul College Kindergarten, please contact us via email or telephone (07) 3826 3450.

Please be aware that Kindergarten enrolment is a separate process to enrolment in the College. For parents interested in also enrolling their child in the College to commence Prep, we ask that you complete the College enrolment form. This form submits an application for a College place from Prep-Year 12. All places are subject to availability at the time of entry.

Outside School Hours Care and Vacation Care are also provided on campus for your convenience.
