John Paul College is committed to providing a Christian ecumenical environment for our students.
Our Chaplain, is the "faith presence" on our campus. He represents the Christian ministry and it is his role to ensure that our Christian values are appreciated, protected and practised for the benefit of each person on his or her journey through life.
In practice, this means the Chaplain preaches the Christian Gospel, organises the content of Christian education in the classroom, inspires discipleship, conducts retreats for staff and students, takes responsibility for the Chapel Services held every week, encourages ecumenism, liaises with the local clergy, does hospital visits, provides grief and pastoral counselling, peer and prayer support, and chairs the Health and Support Services Team.
