Co-Curriculum

Golf

The Golf Program at John Paul College provides a pathway for students of all ages to develop their golfing skills. All coaching is undertaken by golf professionals.

Golf operates all year round, catering for the beginner to the elite player, at Logan City Golf Course.

Players are expected to supply their own golf equipment, however some equipment is available for use in the meantime. Advice is available to assist beginners with the decision making around their purchase.

Beginners

Students in the beginners group play once per week at the golf course and sign up for a term at a time. These students play on the Logan City Golf Course and practise at the driving range. Students from Primary, Middle and Senior Schools can join this group.

Advanced

Advanced golf students play twice per week. Students in this group either have a club handicap or work towards getting one. This is a full year commitment and is undertaken mainly at Logan City Golf Course.

Players are required to wear the normal sports uniform.

It is the responsibility of parents to transport students to and from the golf course.
